March - NC trip March and May and Iceboating on our pond

In March John brought the iceboat home and decided to try it on our little pond and it actually worked ok!

A couple of weeks later, we found things to be a lot warmer in Wilmington. Julie came too, which was fun.

In May, we got some loose ends done at the house including getting our fence "done". In so many ways, this was the fence job from .... More than one experience with the Historic Commission... a fence company that was the worst tradesman experience I've ever had. Not only did they NOT finish the job, but they unilaterally raised the price a $1000 and got mad when we actually wanted the fence to be level. It wasn't until October that they actually finished the job. No fun, but it looks good now.
