Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008 was one of the best I can ever remember! My mom said it was one of her bests too. First, Kris and Aidan came for a visit before the holidays. Then Ross and Julie came to help us decorate the tree. The celebrations began the weekend before Christmas. Mom, Julie, Ross, Jessie, BJ, Eric and Erin all came. It was so much fun. Mom helped make the pies. On Saturday night, we all went to see the play "A Christmas Story". We laughed a lot. The S. Bend Civic did such a good job. We woke up and opened presents and had a wonderful Christmas dinner. I actually found a Christmas Story ornament to remember the occasion.

We then drove to Washington DC and had Christmas day with Mark and Tom. We had fun going to the newly re-opened American History Museum. It was neat seeing Obama as the soon to be next president. We saw an exhibit on Julia Child and of course, our personal favorite, Rachel Carson

In Wilmington, our neighbors had their Christmas exhibit. It wouldn't be the season without it!
