August 2009 - Smith reunion and an anniversary

John and I also celebrated our 30th anniversary by eating out at Ruth Chris. It was a fun night.

In August, we celebrated three birthdays - Dad's, Uncle Bob's and Brady (Ross's son). We had a great time. Some relatives came from Sturgis that I wouldn't have recognized if I saw them on the street. Steve, Kelly and their kids came from Va. It was a nice turnout. The kids told stories about all our travels on TWA and how that had such an impact on us and our kids who all love to travel far and wide. We amazed everyone with the stories about going to the airport and not knowing where we were even going to, or, being in high school or college and travelling to Europe with only a $100 and no reservations of any kind. Dad was very moved by it all.
